10/1/19 I Guess Both Nostrils Can Work At The Same Time?

It has only been one night, but I believe the HEPA filter air cleaner I bought Sunday is a game changer.  I usually don't believe in gadgets even when I buy them.  I take it most shit like this is created for uppity white chicks who don't have real problems, but Wife was complaining that maybe she has become allergic to the dog roaming our halls since she can't shake the allergies she has had.  It rang in the back of my head and Sunday afternoon I got tired of being in bed and went over to Lowe's to look around.  I came upon the area with vacuum cleaners and almost bought a Dyson since they advertise it is the best vacuum, but those things get to $600 pretty quick and I already had other stupid crap in the basket, like Dewalt flashlights, which I know I don't need but I love that bright yellow color plus I need reasons to use all those 20V batteries I have now.
Anyways, I saw the air cleaners and wasn't sure, again, seems hokey to me, but I said F it and bought one.  I set it up next to the kitchen table to see if it would run and then left it on while we ate dinner.  Boy said it seemed to be working, he could breath through both nostrils, his GF said "nah, it's in your head."  Still.... I then took it upstairs and set it up next to Wife, hoping it would help her sleep.  I don't know if she was being nice, but she said she slept a restful sleep, she wasn't coughing all night.  I then slept with it on and honestly, I can't remember the last time I breathed through both nostrils for an extended period of time.  I also didn't drool a gallon, which is super gross but my reality.  I mentioned it to one of those guys helping us refinance and he said it made sense, if you're breathing good through your nose, your mouth will stay closed.  Maybe because I wasn't swimming in my wet pillow, I also managed to sleep like three hours instead of the normal two before getting up to pee.  I know this was only one day and maybe it was just a fluke, but who knows?  I will keep sleeping with it, an added bonus is that the air coming out of it has a scent like when it rains just a little bit, which is quite nice.  Wife is already thinking we need one for each room, so her babies aren't breathing in dirty air germs, but I say they are younger and tougher than us, plus as far as I know, neither of them has problems sleeping.  Maybe there is a little uppity white chick in Wife, heh heh.
