Maybe I just wasn't in the right state of mind, but I hated the new Spider Man movie, Parker acted like a fucking brat and that cost him his aunt. He deserved a swift kick in the ass at the end of the movie, fucking listen to your elders, you're supposed to be better than that. I don't know if it's because we have seen so many Spider Men, and now we accept that they all exist, in different universes, but surely this asshole version has fought a bad guy or two, he wasn't brand new to how bad guys work, yet he knew better and had to save them all. All he got for his troubles was a dead aunt and probably a dead Tobey McGuire Spider-Man, he was sent back to his universe in a world of hurt after getting stabbed in the back by the Goblin, an older but still scary Willem Dafoe.
There were also other problems in the movie, to me. He has saved the world countless times, yet the media still wouldn't shut up in painting him as the bad guy, maybe Spider Man is a representation of Trump, who did a lot of good, yet the media won't shut up and keep pointing at him as the reason for so many problems. Once he was found out, why couldn't some of the Avengers come and help him out, I imagine this wasn't long after they all fought for the literal world and bravely brought back half the people who had been zapped out by Thanos, maybe I am confusing story lines, but they want to make it all blend together. I get that Iron-Man is dead in this story line, but Stark Industries still exists, surely Peter Parker could find some privacy in that compound the Avengers had in the last movie, I mean all that was still there, in this reality. Instead, Happy was floundering around like some out of work actor because his boss had died? Come on, he still had access to all things Stark related, yet he is living in some poor neighborhood in New York, in a one-bedroom apartment, how much of an asshole was Tony Stark to not set him up comfortably?
Finally, I was also bothered by MJ's tone with Dr. Strange. First off, you're talking to a world-renowned surgeon turned wizard, who again, has helped save the world and your shitty little ass is going to walk into his house wanting respect and to be addressed a certain way? How about you prove yourself first that you deserve to breath the same air he breathes, Shithead. I like Zendaya, she was great in The Greatest Showman, and maybe it is just a nod to today's shitty generation, but respect is earned, not given. You showed up at his doorstep needing his help, now he should bend over backwards to help you? Then when he did, the fucking Spider-Ass ruined the solution because he felt sorry for the guys his persona had already killed in other realities/universes. Whatever!!! This all left a bad taste in my mouth, listen to your fucking elders and you reduce your problems... or watch your fucking aunt you love so much die for no good reason.
