1/16/20 Good Girls? (Netflix Series)

I've become obsessed with Craig Ferguson's bits on YouTube, he had a late night show and on one of them I saw Christina Hendricks, the super hot curvy secretary from Mad Men and realized she is a real actress and not just a cartoon character from that show.  I then looked on Netflix and noticed she was the lead on a new-ish series, Good Girls.  It really reminds me of Breaking Bad, the good guy forced to do something bad but then realizing that the bad thing gives them a rush and they enjoy being that bad element.
In a bad twist of events, her character discovers that the husband has blown through their credit cards and has not been making the house payments which leaves her desperate, her younger sister has a rough life getting by working at a supermarket and with a teenager who the ex wants to take away and give her a better life, but that means she doesn't get to be with her mom.  Then a third friend also is having financial problems with a sick kid who has kidney problems.
The one working at the supermarket suggests they do a heist and steal from her store, she says if they can get the money in the safe, there should be something like $30k, enough to help them.  This is successful, but maybe too successful as they end up with $500,000.  Turns out, the store is being used by really bad people to store and launder money.  Before they know it, they owe a "bad hombre" money and shenanigans ensue.  Just about when they are able to satisfy them, the main character asks if there are any other jobs good suburban moms can pull off for them.  They then get pulled into a shady life of doing wrong, such as money laundering fake money, and other creative things.
It seems like every time they have an opportunity to get off the merry-go-round, another emergency pops up and they need more money.  This keeps them on the hook with the "Bad hombre" who kind of wants to help them, but is still more interested in his affairs first.  I don't want to give all the plot points away, but what is one to do?
Given that they have the chance to make a lot of money illegally but for noble causes, and nobody is getting hurt, do they continue?  Christina's character is definitely a bored housewife and she is turned on by the power and seduction of the dark life.  It seems that when they can walk away on multiple chances, she invites the trouble back.  I just binged the whole first season in two nights, ten episodes long.  It was exciting, but in real life, I just think they would have been shot on the first or second episode and that would be it.  Bad hombres don't have a need to listen to white suburban chicks, but then we wouldn't have a show.
