9/17/18 Thought For The Day #2?

If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales.  If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.
-Albert Einstein

Like I said, I need a little break now and then, this is another thought for the day from one of our most celebrated scholars.  Einstein is synonymous with genius, which no one would dispute.  A little known fact is that he was dyslexic, a trait shared by some of the greatest minds the world has seen, da Vinci was also believed to be as well as Thomas Edison.
As a youth, the idea that Boy had this "debilitation" put a world of fear in me.  I thought maybe we would have to support him all his life.  It turns out, dyslexia can be a positive thing.  I would never say life can be easy for them, but there is a thin veil of beauty in that as we have been told, they see things differently and I believe this is where their genius comes from.  For all his trouble reading simple paragraphs, Boy can turn around and apparently is having good success writing computer code as he continues working on his degree in engineering  He chose to quit his job at Alamo Drafthouse because he has an internship with a tech company where they have told him they want him to stay on indefinitely until he gets his degree.
When life gives you lemons, as they say, we make lemonade.  We cannot reboot or ask for a do-over, we must play life as it comes to us.
