7/19/15 Perfect Day On The Coast?

Day started off perfect.  Got up at 8:45am to eat the complimentary breakfast and to thaw out a bit. We should be smarter, but you gotta love a cold AC, even when it hurts.  Breakfast was a mixed smorgasborg of eggs, bacon, toast, muffins, bagels, cereals, coffee, juice, waffles, fruit, danish, and oatmeal, along with yogurts.  We had some of everything, now I'm in bed with a full gut, damn lack of self control.  But it is only 10:00am, so we can nap for a couple hours before we are expected anywhere....
Woke up at 12:15 and now I wasn't sure if I was late with my family's schedule.  I jumped in shower, Wife followed and we were out the door by 1:40pm or so.  They were all at the mall.  We almost headed there but Wife was worried about having chairs at the beach, so we went to Academy instead.  Chubs also needed a new pair of Crocs, it is the only footwear we wear day to day.  He complains like he's no one I know about trying on new things, but settles down as soon as he gets what he needs.
We headed to my mom's RV gave her the thumbs up for her decision to sell old RV.  We then headed to Bob Hall Pier.  Water wasa actually brown and muddy, but it was so nice being out there, we didn't make too much of a fuss.  Brother in Law took his sun shade and it helped make afternoon just about perfect.  We all sat underneath and just sat there joking about nothing in particular.  The funniest moment of the afternoon was a seagull pooping pefectly on my dad's ear.  He was confused for a moment but we all helped him get cleaned up.
The afternoon was closed off in the pool at my folks RV park.  This is the perfect time of year to get in the pool and just relax, we were probably in there half an hour, we needed to move along in order to get dinner.
We ran to our hotel to change clothes, and ate dinner at Outback Steakhouse.  The meals were great and everyone was happy with a steak in the gut.  We hugged our folks goodnight and walked back to our hotel, which was/is only about 100 yards, the length of a Cracker Barrel, an Ethan Allen, and an abandoned building.  Overall, it was a pretty good day.
