5/4/15 Classic Loveline Rocks?

I found the classic Loveline series on the Apple Store Podcast section.  If I could pass along any information to anyone it would be to listen to the series regularly.  There are over 2,600 episodes.  It lasted from 1995 to 2005 with Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew Pinsky.  The show still exists, but back then it could be listened to on the 101.5 alternative station here in Austin.  On the radio it would play from 10pm to midnight.  On the podcast format, the shows last roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes with all the commercials removed.
Adam added humor and sarcasm and made it interesting while Dr. Drew who started volunteering on the show, originally only on Sunday nights, back in the 80's.  Basically, the show takes random calls from anyone in the country, dealing with issues of drug abuse to adolescence to sexual abuse to the macabre.  One of the most interesting callers was an 18 year old wondering if it was OK to take a skull from a masoleum to place in his snake aquarium.  He thought it would be cool for his snake to gothrough it to impress the ladies.  Both Drew and Adam were bothered by the caller and suggested he needed psychiatric help, eventually suggested he just use a Halloween skull.
Many times Adam would yell at the callers, which was always funny to me.  His rants at the teenage male is one I have adopted.  He would always declare the teen male is useless until about 25 as he matures.  Every prank call was the product of a male and even when a girl would attempt a prank call, they could get her to admit there was a guy in the room, prompting her.
Another interesting feature of the show is they would regularly have guests, from obscure bands of the time, to celebrities like Andy Dick to Tom Arnold and everything in between.  They would come on the show to advertise whatever movie or concert and then stay and participate with the callers.  There were a couple of guests who found the material offensive, notably a band from Europe left the show 10 minutes in because they considered the content too risque for their fans.
Through Adam's comedy I went and listened to the whole 10 years worth of shows.  There is a lot of knowledge that can be gathered from the two personas.  I feel as if I have insight into people's issues from listening to Dr. Drew handle his callers.
