7/28/18 Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)

I did not like the end of this movie, like it was almost intentional to keep the big money machine going.  There were many things not believable and that made the movie even harder to swallow.  I don't believe the island would be abandoned of government entities making sure shenanigans like stealing of smaller dinosaurs didn't happen.  There is no policing and so a small army can come in and take the animals and sold/kept at no cost to anyone?
The movie picks up with the island where the dinosaurs live is in danger due to a volcano that is just naturally becoming active and Claire has set up some sort of small organization to try and save the dinos from a certain extinction.  Jeff Goldblum is still around but detached from the action.  He is in front of Congress trying to convince them to let the dinosaurs die with the island, as things go.  He worries that they could be used for bad, just as some maniacal maniac has just started that plan.
Enter Eli Mills, who is in charge of the Lockwood Estate, who is the old business partner of Hammond, the financier from the very first movie.  He tricks Claire into agreeing to go to the island and using her fingerprint to unlock the safety system and if she could, "take Owen, who trained Blue because we need Blue who is super smart for ummm nefarious reasons."  He has her tricked into believing they have another island set up where the dinosaurs could live without human interference, but of course, that would be too easy and nobody would profit from that.
Within minutes of getting on the island, they find Blue, the dummies are tricked, Owen is shot with a tranquilizer and the "bad guys" take everything they want, including Blue.  Owen then wakes up, just in time, and runs back to the control center, where Claire and the computer dude, who we are all pretty sure is not going to make it are, having just escaped an attack by a dinosaur.  They all run to the edge of the island, the volcano has gone into full eruption mode and it is spitting and oozing hot lava everywhere.
The setup for the next movie is pretty much made by taking a good twenty or thirty good sized  dinosaurs back to the US, again the boat just comes in, there is no customs to check in, just a giant boat, never mind what could be getting delivered.  There is a collection of bad guys on the Lockwood estate and they are bidding for the dinosaurs to take and do with as they please.  It only takes a small-ish dinosaur to wreak havoc as he escapes with the prodding of Owen.  This causes everything to fall apart as the bad guys with money disperse and/or get destroyed by the few dinosaurs that get free.  One of the security guys accidentally shoots a container with some poison and of course, the system that pushes fresh air is disabled, so the dinosaurs that are still contained are all going to slowly die.  Claire, the idiot that she is, starts freeing up the dinosaurs, then the little girl finishes the fuck up by releasing the dinosaurs out the gates into the woods and beyond.
We find that the girl is a clone and although we don't really care, it gives her fuel to be ok with releasing the dinosaurs out to the world.  I saw it as a dick move because in a real world, these few dinosaurs are going to cause a few hundred to a few thousand deaths, just because she determined they were like her and they have a right to live.  Maybe they have a right, but you can't release alpha predators like huge dinosaurs into our backyards.  It's going to be her fault as far as the predators and how many Americans they destroy.
