11/10/17 Easy? (Netflix Series)

I am loving Netflix again, as I said, I had been off of it for awhile, but there seems to be so much new programming.  I love that they don't care about keeping things PG, for the fucking kids.  If people are humping, you will probably see a nipple or two.  Easy is the kind of series they are good at doing.  It follows a group of Chicago friends through their challenges of love and life.  I really liked the second episode where the babysitter from the first episode is followed, she is probably 20, cute, and experimental.  She hooks up with another girl and they get together, in the morning when they are discussing their daily activities, she finds that the other girl is a vegan and she mentions that she has always been on the verge of changing, and then packs on another little white lie that she loves biking while not even owning a bike.  The episode ends with her realizing she can't just change for the person and the other girl never wanted her to change just for her.
Utopia, the sixth or so episode has Orlando Bloom, Malin Akerman, and Kate Micucci, which seem like bigger stars for this, but I guess in this new generation, actors act wherever they can and/or want to.  I have always enjoyed Micucci and her little banjo since I saw her on Scrubs.  It was nice to see her play an interested third party to a married couple and then have them get together and naked for an extended amount of time, thanks to the distractions of life.
Brewery Brothers was another good one with Aya Cash playing a very reserved pregnant wife, where she usually plays an out of control drunk, druggie, girlfriend in You're The Worst.  Her brother in Law is played by Dave Franco, who has done plenty of movies.  They have a pretty good story of having to grow up, and luckily being able to be doing what you love in the process with the ones you love.  Young brother Dave wants to be rebellious to his older brother who plays life much more reserved, but in the end, he too is forced to grow up by an oncoming addition to his life.
Most of these stories were interesting and seemed to pass by very rapidly.  I noticed on IMDB that the second season is already slated for December of this year, so the new season is less than a month away.  On the one hand, it is awesome that one can digest these shows so quickly, but on the other, I enjoy them so much, I wish they were longer.  Between this and Orange Is The New Black, Love, Master of None, and even stuff like Glow.  Not to mention serious stuff like Mindhunter and Netflix deserves more awards for their programming than the big networks which seem like antiquated dinosaurs still working with a laugh track and in a studio audience room, like it's the 1950's.
