5/19/17 Chubs Is Wondering About Aliens?

    I have mentioned my experience with a "spaceship", so it goes that yes, I believe in something.  There are way too many stars with their own respective planets for this to not be true.  Scientists have even found water, a sure sign of terrestrial life on some of Saturn's moons.  We are in the infancy of space discovery, with a couple of probes sent to Mars and some old capsules sent out past our solar system with an FM receiver or something like that.  We are 500 to 1000 years away from anything like Star Trek where we go on friendly voyages to boldly go where no man has gone before.
    The discussion came up today with Chubs while we were eating at Bill Miller.  He wanted my opinion, which I said there are so many planets and solar systems, we can't be the only planet with life on it.  He was on the fence, then said he wanted to be on the side with the believers, but he was a little bothered by a boy who got too excited.  There was a kid way into the topic saying that the extraterrestrials could just be hiding with superior technology in plain sight.  If this is the case, they could already be here, a la MIB.  Working with a government entity, but that would be too far fetched.  Humans are a little too stupid to keep something like this hidden for too long, we would have to brag if we knew there were aliens next door.
    This kind of reminds me of the little 2-3 year old I saw on FB that was crying because of Jesus Christ.  Come on, you haven't learned how to wipe your ass, and you understand a supreme being came and died for our sins?  I thought that was ridiculous, as most supporters who try to ram down shit that is at best goofy.  Same with the overly excitable boy in Chub's class, he doesn't realize his dorky shit makes it harder for moderates to come in and side with his goofy ass.  All you should be doing is giving your best support by presenting facts in your favor, such as most of the universe is similar in age, if we believe in the big bang theory, so we just need a planet similar in distance as earth is to the sun, with water and oxygen, and there is a good chance for stuff to grow.
    Let's not hope the aliens are so far ahead of us, that they have technology which makes them invisible or they have figured out how to travel through time, because then they are at an advantage to us and it is never good not to have the advantage in technology against any other creature.
