(Internet was down last night, could not post, this is happening through phone). Yesterday was off to a weird start. I had told my family I was not going to rush going to the parks. While we were getting up at a leisurely pace, we found out the monorail was out of order. There was a huge line for the ferryboats. While Wife got dressed, she got an email from a job she applied and interviewed a couple weeks ago. She has until Friday to accept the job, and she shouldlk know by Friday if she is going to be offered that job.
We also had to wait on ferryboats, which made us waste another hour before getting into the park. By the time we got in, it was almost 1:00pm, and my brother had scheduled a fancy meal with Winnie the Pooh and several other characters. The meal was lackluster, but we gave it a go. It was hard afterwards though, with our bellies full and the kids wanting to go get on rides.
We headed to Tomorrowland and got into the Monster's Inc laugh factory. It was pretty good, i napped pretty easily on the bench seating provided. This was then followed by Stitch's ride. The rest of the day was good other than feeling like an overstuffed cow. The best part was having Boy set us up with Fast Passes. He did it somehow through his phone online. We were able to skip the line for Haunted Mansion, then since we were in the area, did It's A Small World, the teacups for the kids, and a carousel. At this point, we did another Fast Pass of Buzz Lightyear's ride, then over to Fantasyland. We rode Little Mermaid ride, then walked all the way over to Pirates of the Caribean, but it was down. Since we had a fast pass for it, they said we could transfer it to other rides, we chose the River Ride, for a dopey ride, it had the longest line, up to a 2 hour wait. We got on in 15 minutes or so, then ended the night with a parade and fireworks.
This park is always good, it feels large, and the changing themes in the different areas keeps it fresh. They just added Fairyland, and I don't think they are done adding to it.
